SA: Off duty officer arrests serial armed robber

A man wanted by police for a series of armed holdups has been arrested by an off-duty officer.

A police spokesman says the officer was shopping with a friend yesterday when he recognised
the 24-year old Flinders Park man, who's since been charged with 14 counts of robbery
with violence.

One of the charges relates to an armed holdup at a video store where three men and
one woman were arrested last week.

The man has been remanded in custody to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.
