Jan. 31--POLITICS ASIDE -- yours and mine -- I was pleasantly struck by President Bush's State of the Union reference to Dikembe Mutombo, who came to Georgetown University on a scholarship to study medicine but ended up playing in the NBA. "But he never forgot the land of his birth or the duty to share his blessings with others," Bush said. "He has built a brand-new hospital in his hometown.
