WA:Fire forces road closures

PERTH, Aug 9 AAP - Perth firefighters have closed off access to homes 200 metres around
a fire in a shed containing a potentially explosive gas cylinder.

The fire in the shed attached to a house in Ellenbrook, in Perth's northeast, broke
out around 11.45am (WST) on Monday.

The Fire and Emergency Services Authority said the fire had caused an acetylene cylinder
in the shed to overheat and there was a risk of it exploding.

Access to all houses and streets in a 200 metre radius around the property had been
closed on Monday afternoon.

A relocation point has been set up for local residents at the Woodlake Village Community Centre.
